We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. It reminds me alot of the patterns sometimes found on chinese clothing.
I started out doing some other stuff with projection, like words, text, etc. It evolved into patterns after a few attempts The series of rust macros I had shot seemed like they've make a good effect.
For this one, I tried to get the model to work with the pattern a bit, by appearing to pull at the darker torn area in the middle.
